Celebrate Yellow Flower Day – March 21

Celebrate Yellow Flower Day – March 21

Every year on March 21st & September 21st, people around the world celebrate Yellow Flower Day by giving bright yellow flowers to someone special. The tradition has become especially popular in recent years as a way to celebrate happiness, friendship, and the arrival of spring. Yellow Flower Day has it's origins from Argentinian Telenovela "Florecienta", which then started trending on TikTok because of the show's song, "Flores Amarillas" which translates to Yellow Flowers.

Yellow flowers have long symbolized warmth, optimism, and joy. Their sunny color naturally reminds us of light, energy, and positivity, which is why they make such a meaningful gift for friends, family members, and loved ones.

At Flowers of the Field, yellow flowers are some of our favorites to design with. From our large, cheerful sunflowers to vibrant yellow roses and fresh spring tulips, these blooms bring an instant sense of brightness and happiness to any arrangement.

Owner and floral designer Ara Lafi believes flowers should tell a story. Yellow Flower Day is a perfect reminder that sometimes the simplest gesture, a bouquet of bright yellow blooms can lift someone’s spirits and let them know you are thinking about them.
